BITSAT Exam
BITSAT, Birla Institute of Technology and Science admission Test is the entrance exam conducted at university levels. BITS Pilani will conduct the BITSAT exam in 2026 and the exam schedule has been released on website. It will conduct 2 times in a year to allow candidates to secure their admissions.
This exam gives the gateway to applicants to get admission in several UG and PG courses at BITA Pilani University. If you also want to get admission in any course at this institute, then you must qualify this exam.

BITSAT Exam Pattern
To ensure the best BITS preparation, candidates need to follow the latest exam pattern. Here, we tell you the total number of questions, marks, marking scheme, etc in a detailed BITSAT exam pattern given below.
- BITSAT Exam 2026 exam will conduct in an online Mode
- The Mode of exam is English only
- The candidates will get 3 hours to complete this paper
- There are objective-type questions asked in this paper
- There are total 130 questions will asked
- BITSAT question paper will come in the design of 4 sections, such as English proficiency & logical reasoning, chemistry, physics, mathematics or biology.
- On every correct answer, 3 marks will be added
- 1 mark is deduct if candidate attempt wrong answer

BITSAT Exam Eligibility
The candidates should meet their BITSAT exam eligibility criteria to become eligible for this exam. The eligibility criteria consist of the age limit, educational qualification, qualifying marks, etc. If you want to sit in this exam, you should meet your eligibility.
- Educational Qualification
Candidates must pass the 10+2 exam from a recognized board with compulsory subjects, such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Candidates must be passed the 12th standard in 2025 to become eligible for it.
- Age limit
Candidate do not need to meet any age limit criteria
- Qualifying marks
The candidates must score 75% marks in chemistry, physics and maths. Candidates should obtain 60% marks in every subject.
Course-wise BITSAT 2026 exam eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the BITSAT 2026 Exam also vary according to the course.
B.Pharma course
- Applicants must be 12th passed from a recognized board or university
- Candidate should complete their 10+2 from physics, chemistry, biology and English compulsory subjects to become eligible for B.Pharma admissions through this exam
- Candidate should obtain a minimum 75% score in PCM/PCB and 60% marks in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics
Other UG course
- Candidates must be passed the 12th class or similar qualification from a recognized board with chemistry, physics, maths and adequate English subjects.
- Candidates must obtains the 75% marks in their exams. They should get the 60% in chemistry, physics and mathematics subjects separately.
BITSAT 2026 Exam Dates
According to the BITSAT 2026 date, it is expected that this exam will be conducted in May and June, according to sessions. It will be conducted in computer based Mode.
