UPTET Exam
UPTET 2025 exam is the state-level entrance exam. UPBEB will conducts this exam. This exam is conducted for candidates who want to join the training sector of teacher jobs at the primary and junior high school levels. It is conduct every year, and lakhs of candidates appear in this exam to get teacher jobs.

UPTET Exam Pattern
There are two papers that will be conducted under the UPTET 2025 entrance exam.
- Paper 1 will conducts for the primary level teacher, from class 1 to 5 and Paper 2 will conducts for upper primary levels teacher from class 6 to 8.
- It is a written test in which MCQ questions will asked from candidates.
- The total marks of this exam is 150 marks
- Every question carry 1 mark
- No negative marking is applicable to this paper
- The candidates will get 150 minutes to complete the paper

UPTET Exam Eligibility
Candidates need to meet the UPTET exam eligibility criteria to become eligible for this exam. Here you can check UPTET 2025 details on Paper 1 and Paper 2 educational qualification, age limit, relaxation criteria, nationality.
Educational Qualification
Paper 1 ( Primary Teacher)
- The candidate must be senior secondary passed with a minimum 50% marks or currently in the final year of a diploma of 2 years in elementary education Or
- Candidate must be senior secondary passed with minimum 50% marks or currently in the final year of 4 years B.El.Ed ( Bachelor of Elementary Education) Or
- Candidate must be senior secondary passed with at least 50% marks or currently appear in diploma in education of 2 years Or
- Candidate must be graduated or appear in the final year of elementary education diploma of 2 years Or
- Candidate must be Graduated and appear in the final year of B.Ed to become eligible for the UPTET 2025 exam.
Paper 2 ( Upper Primary Teacher)
- Candidate must be graduated passed or appear in the final year of diploma in elementary education Or
- Candidate must be graduated passed with at least 50% marks or appear in 1st year of bachelor in education ( B.Ed) Or
- Candidate must be graduated with 45 % marks or appear in B.ED 1st year in accordance with NCTE Or
- Candidate must be senior secondary passed with at least 50% marks or appear in the final year of B.Ed.ED course Or
- Candidate must be senior secondary passed with 50% marks or appear in the final year of A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR
- Candidate must be graduated with a minimum 50% marks or appear in B.Ed course in 1st
Age limit
The age of the candidate must be lie between 18 to 35 years old, to become eligible for the UPTET 2025 exam.
