MHT- CET Exam
MHT-CET is called the Maharashtra Technology Common Entrance test. If you want to get admissions in UG courses at engineering colleges in Maharashtra, then you should crack this entrance exam. It is the state wise entrance test that will be conducted in Maharashtra and allow candidates to get an opportunity to book their seats in engineering colleges in the State.
The application form will be available on the website from January and then an exam will be conducted for the screening of candidates. Those who want to sit to become eligible for the MHT-CET 2026 exam date should meet their eligibility and sit in this entrance exam on exam day. It will be conducted in two papers, Paper 1 for maths subject and Paper 2 for chemistry and physics. It is the offline exam conducted at the exam centres.
MHT- CET Exam Pattern

- The mode of the exam is computer-based mode.
- The duration of the exam is 3 hours, given to candidates to solve their Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams.
- There are a total 150 questions asked in the PCM paper and a total of 200 questions asked in the PCB paper.
- There are the MCQ questions asked in this paper.
- This entrance exam will conduct in Marathi, English, Urdu for the PCB exam and for the PCM paper, this exam will conduct in English mode only
- 1 mark will be added on every correct answer in PCB paper, and 2 marks will be given to candidates in PCM paper
- No negative marking is there

MHT-CET Exam Eligibility
The exam authority has released the MHT- CET exam eligibility. All the applicants must meet this criteria to become eligible for it.
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Candidate do not need to fulfil any age limit criteria.
- The candidate must be 10+2 passed from a recognized board with PCM subjects. The candidates passed their senior secondary levels class with a minimum 45% marks.
- Applicants must have the domicile certificate of State Maharashtra to become eligible for it.
