 Tuition Fee: ₹2,45,000 per semester

 Summer Term (if registered): ₹85,700

 Mess & Electricity Advance: ₹10,000 per semester

Other Charges: Institute Caution Deposit ₹3,000, Student Union fee ₹450 (annual), Student Aid Fund ₹225 (annual), and Other Advances ₹12,000 per semester every year progressively.

The price tag looks heavy, yes, but BITS does have scholarships. Merit-based awards can cut tuition by 40% to 100%, while merit-cum-need scholarships take care of  15% to 80%. In practice, a lot of students end up paying less than the sticker price.
