Union Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, launched the ‘SWAYAM Plus’ platform on February 27. Developed collaboratively with industry leaders such as L&T, Microsoft, and CISCO, SWAYAM Plus offers employability and professional development-focused programs. Operated by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), the platform seeks to enhance the employability of college students and lifelong learners through industry-academia partnerships. Programs cover various sectors including manufacturing, energy, computer science, engineering, IT, management studies, healthcare, hospitality, tourism, and Indian knowledge systems.
